What is a user flow?
User flow is a path which the user takes on a website or mobile application to accomplish a task or an action. User flows start from the first interface user sees and runs until the user arrives at the final interface. Long story short, user flow is a map that users follow to complete an intended action.
Creating user flows in Pixelic
In Pixelic, you can quickly create user flows without uploading new screens or making a separate PDF/Google Slide presentation. Because you've connected your Figma frames already, you can simply use them to create clean, simple user flows.
Step 1. Select frames from your Figma file
Add new Userflow to select frames from your Figma file. (Note: you'll need to connect with your Figma account first. Here's how.)
Once you have your frame ready (you can re-order them later), give it a title and description to document your specifications. For example, see below:
Step 2. Re-order flows and add descriptions on each step
You can add descriptions on each step (see above). You can also re-order the steps by dragging & dropping each step.
Step 3. View Presentation mode
To view each step in detail, click each step to view them in the Presentation mode. You can use the arrow button on the bottom to move between steps.
Step 4. Go to Frame to view version history and comments. You can also leave a comment in each frame as well.
We'll soon be rolling out commenting and version history features for the user flows. You'll also be able to share the entire user flow with your Slack workspace.
